What a beautiful site on Saturday night! At last, and Alabama player hoisting the Heisman Trophy!! As I watched with a large group of co-workers at our company Christmas party, you would have thought Alabama had just kicked a 60 yard field goal to win a National Championship. Complete silence followed by a huge cheer when they called Mark Ingram’s name…it was awesome! I could not help but get a little emotional when Ingram was giving his speech. He is truly a special kid, with tremendous talent. I have never seen a running back play with as much heart as he does. Ingram is the epidomy of a team player…he does whatever he is asked to do, and is so grateful for his teammates. I am so happy for him, and the entire Crimson Tide Family. I don’t care what anyone says about the other candidates…Mark Ingram was the clear choice for Heisman.
Congratulations Mark, we are so proud of you! Only one more award left for this season…and this one comes in crystal. Roll Tide!
